Framing: the whole car, with room to spare
Cropped wheels or bumpers are the most common reason a result looks wrong: the AI has to invent the missing part and often gets it wrong during the flip. Step back, keep the entire car in the frame and leave some space around it.
Angle: side or three-quarter
The ramp jump is seen from the side of the ramp, so a photo taken from the side or at a three-quarter angle gives the AI the car’s length, roofline and wheel positions. A straight head-on photo hides all of that and leads to a shorter, boxier car in the air.
Light and colour
Overcast daylight or an evenly lit garage shows the real paint. Direct sun on dark paint turns into white glare, and a polished car reflects the street around it, which the AI can read as patterns on the bodywork. Skip strong filters: the video keeps whatever tint the photo has.
Background and other cars
One vehicle per photo. If other cars are visible the AI can mix them up, and busy backgrounds steal detail. A car park, a driveway or a plain wall works. Hide number plates if you prefer; the result does not need them.
Frequently asked questions
Does a phone photo work?
Yes. Any sharp JPG, PNG or WebP up to 20 MB works; the subject matters more than the camera.
Can I use a photo from a listing or a press kit?
Only if you have permission. Flying Car AI asks you to confirm that you took the photo or may use it; manufacturer press photos and other people’s posts are not allowed.
Should people be in the photo?
Better not. The stunt is about the car, and anyone visible must have agreed to appear in an AI-generated video.
Does it have to be a car?
No. Any vehicle with its whole body and wheels in the photo can do the ramp jump: a motorbike, a bicycle, a van, a kart. Results vary more for unusual shapes, so check the real examples first.
What is the fastest way to make a flying car AI video?
Upload one photo of your car to Flying Car AI and download a 10-second widescreen MP4 in which it flies off the ramp, hovers in mid-air and lands on jets in smoke. A single video is $4.99 (40 credits), with no subscription.
